The photo below shows an MD163056 computer for a 91 Mitsubishi Mighty Max or Dodge Ram 50 pickup. Two capacitors have been removed from the injector dampner network (C110, C111) as well as a Rubicon electrolytic, C104. The corrosion around the through hole vias as indicated by the arrows is just the tip of a larger problem on this computer. The chemical that did this damage came from C104. As you can see there is little damage at the solder mounting holes for C104.
